Inspired by Nature - Meet Kim Larsen

Since childhood, Kim has loved discovery, building, and being outdoors. Across many media, including photography, collage, and jewelry, she has incorporated images or objects from nature to enhance the beauty of our everyday lives. That passion, combined with travel around the world, led Kim to experiment with natural objects (twigs, vines, seeds, fungi, etc.) as well as objects such as antique buttons, badges, and pocket watches from flea markets.

She founded her company in 2022 with a goal of creating her own unique brand of handmade jewelry, full of color, texture, and character. Working in 22k and 18k gold, and sterling silver she creates compellingly simple pieces using metal, gemstones, hand-carved shapes, and found objects. With a commitment to sustainability, she uses and reuses responsibly-sourced gold, silver, gemstones, and various other materials. Kim’s artistic inspiration comes from the spending time outdoors, traveling abroad, and her fascination with art and design history.

All pieces are made in New York City, where she lives with her husband, two sons, and a dog. Kim grew up in New York City but spent her high school years in the woods of New Hampshire and spent summers by the Atlantic Ocean and a lake in Waccabuc, N.Y.. Kim has a BA from Yale and an MFA from B.U. College for the Arts.
